  It's amazing to me that that article said so much, without saying anything at all. What exactly has been made that is Bond related? (I know one answer is nothing any of us care about) They went into the names of the projects without disclosing anything about them that is relevant.

  I figured as much, @Red_Snow (that Bond would feature in gambling games) but beyond that I just got no context for any of it in the actual press release.
  All that besides, I know none of us care about that anyway, and are disappointed with how the Bond license is being used.

  Seriously though, I hope that the designers put as much thought into this as the hardcore fans would have, even if it is for some silly slot machines. If people are going to be exposed to the Bond brand then I'd hate to have it come off as generic.

  To be fair I think casino games are far enough away from the concept of console video games that this is a seperate topic. Besides, Bond and gambling go well together I'd definitely have a go on a Bond themed slot machine if I found myself in a casino with one.
  This isn't them running the game licence into the ground like with 007 Legends and that terrible mobile game, it's just them expanding the franchise in a different way. When I was trying to find out more about it I discovered that there was also a Game Of Thrones machine unveilled. But I know that this doesn't affect the video game licence because Telltale are still doing their Game Of Thrones game. So that proves it is has nothing to do with the computer game licence, relax guys.
  I'm as annoyed about the lack of a new Bond video game as any of you but this isn't the place to bitch about it. It's a different thing (although they don't help themselves by calling it a 'gaming experience'). By that logic, you may as well go on the comics thread or a thread about the 007 aftershave or something and say 'why are they doing this but they're not using the video game licence'. It isn't really relevant.

  I know from my work that the Scientific Games Corporation are the ones behind the National Lottery scratchcard games here in the UK. They even had Bond film scratchcards at one point, for CR and QoS I believe.

James Bond is a huge brand. From 1962, 24 movies featuring the super spy have thrilled generations. Online casino players have wondered when a branded James Bond slot will be launched. The Q Bonus awards free spins in which you collect blue diamonds and can win a progressive jackpot. There is a Wide Area Progressive on the gaming floor, with an initial jackpot of $200,000. The top jackpot is “Shaken, Not Stirred”, which is triggered through a martini pour on the wheel. Seminole has introduced a bank of five machines located at the entrance to the casino floor from Winner’s Way garage.

The genesis of this James Bond slot machine was at the 2017 Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. Scientific Games introduced three land slot machines based on Bond movies: Casino Royale, Goldfinger and Diamonds Are Forever. The other two are also expected to enter the market in the coming months. Casino Royale will be on the new Gamefield 2.0 platform and Goldfinger will be on the TwinStar J43 with iReels platform. These slot machines were developed as a result of an agreement between Scientific Games and MGM Studios. The deal allows Scientific Games to create slot machines featuring all past and future 007 films, including the actors and characters within them.

On that occasion, Kevin Sheehan, CEO and President of Scientific Games, had said, “What truly sets our booth apart is our exclusive James Bond showcase, where we will debut our first products based on the incredible Bond franchise.
